7 Days, 8 Nights

In one week, I will be packing up the last of my bags and attempting to go to bed early and get a decent nights sleep. My flight for paradise leaves at 6am, meaning I should be at the airport around 4am to facilitate parking the car, checking bags, and making my way through security at the 5th busiest airport in the nation. The best thing about the flight is that since it is early and mid-week, I don't anticipate the lot being crowded or the lines too long at the airport. I am so thankful that I am able to travel in off times, rather than in the midst of summer vacation/spring break/Christmas break when every parent is taking their school age children to Disney or the other numerous places taht are invaded anytime school is out. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE kids (probably more than some) but I am fortunate in this time in my life that I although I don't have kids of my own, I can take advantage of this time and enjoy my other love, travel. So in 7 days, 8 nights, I will be headed for paradise to enjoy the sunshine, island breeze, sandy beach and clear blue waters.
